Century Cabinets Inc., an industry leader in the building products space is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our growing team. This position’s primary responsibility will be to control the execution of all inbound and outbound shipments of our client’s raw product and finished goods. This position will require overseeing the daily functions of the shipping department including but not limited to overseeing office personnel, forklift drivers, stackers, and the proper staging of customer deliveries for shipment. Supervise a well-organized warehouse that provides excellent customer service, shipping accuracy and excellent inventory management. This position should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.

Responsibilities

• Strategically supervisor warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution
• Review Ship List and Receiving list for daily outbound and inbound shipments
• Review Ship List for inventory shortages
• Prepare orders for staging and or shipping
• Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Ensure safe operations of the warehouse and trucks
• Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies
• Responsible for managing inventory and ensuring inventory accuracy
• Measures performance KPIs and provides reporting to upper management

Requirements

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a warehouse supervisor
• Construction experience - working knowledge of Cabinetry, Kitchen, and Bathroom construction
• Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Hands on experience with warehouse software and databases
• Leadership skills and ability supervise staff
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Bilingual Spanish or Portuguese/English STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong computer/Excel skills
