Centre Technologies is Hiring a Business Development Representative Near Houston, TX

We are excited to announce we are expanding and looking to grow our team with a new Business Development Representative!

Position Summary

As a Business Development Representative at Centre, you will lead a variety of targeted demand generation activities with the goal of new customer acquisitions. The role will include timely follow-up on leads generated by Centre’s marketing efforts, articulating the Centre value proposition to prospects, as well as scheduling appointments for Centre’s sales team. A vital part of this role is focused on establishing relationships with prospective customers and guiding them through their Centre interactions all the way to close of sale. This role will include a strong focus on lead generation that includes an account-based experience focus through each stage of the sales funnel to support the sales team and to ensure a positive experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creating and managing a book of business by list building, de-duplication, and segmentation while vetting lead/opportunity follow-up meetings
  • Articulating Centre’s value proposition to potential customers through strategic, self-generated marketing tactics such as but not limited to outbound and inbound phone calls, email sequencing, social media, and direct mail
  • Working closely with marketing to follow up on inbound leads and drive event attendance; may be required to attend company events to entertain prospects and help with event setup
  • Acting as the prospect liaison by attending all sales meetings until lead is won or lost; nurturing leads that are not ready to close will be required.
  • Forecasting and tracking pipeline resulting from marketing generated leads
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs

Education/Experience/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant concentration.
  • 2 Years of B2B experience in sales, customer success, or account management required; experience with B2B lead generation and nurturing campaigns preferred.
  • 1 Years working within HubSpot Marketing CRM with the ability to create and schedule emails.
  • HubSpot certifications a plus.
  • IT sales experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer systems (Microsoft Office, Internet, CRM) required.
  • Strong collaboration skills; ability to hold relationships with peers, sales, partners, and prospects required.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • This position is required to work primarily in-office.
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
  • Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required
  • Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities/injuries to perform the essential functions of this role.
  • The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
