Central Indiana Community Foundation is Hiring a Human Resources Associate Near Indianapolis, IN

Description

The successful candidate will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s Human Resources department including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

The Human Resources Associate must have excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail. Should have a working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures. 

Responsibilities:

? Assists with recruitment, interview and onboarding process. Tracks status of candidates in Applicant Tracking System.

? Provides administrative support to the HR department.

? Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

? Schedules meetings, interviews and training sessions as requested.

? Assists with the planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, and employee relationship building activities.

? Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Flexible, hybrid work arrangement - Work from home on Mondays and Fridays
  • Home base–Newly renovated office space conveniently located downtown, just steps from Mass Ave., plus additional space in HCCF’s new coworking space in Fishers, just off I-69 and 116th St. Home base will be located in downtown Indianapolis.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Prior related office experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Ability to function in a high-paced environment.
  • Willingness to build knowledge about opportunity, equity and inclusion issues, ?and?how they intersect with race and the experiences of women and girls, and advance?these core values through?your?work.
  • Fully vaccinated against coronavirus, per CDC guidelines.
