Job Description of Project Superintendent:

The Project Superintendent has full responsibility for the onsite production of the projects. Superintendent is responsible for directing craftsmen and subcontractors, administering Quality Management System, assuring conformity to design documents, maintaining sequences to meet schedule, conducting jobsite meetings, scheduling owned equipment, and administering jobsite safety program toward an achievable goal of zero incidents. Superintendents are expected to conform to corporate policies and procedures, uphold ethical standards, and exemplify corporate values, with an emphasis on integrity and service.

Duties and Responsibilities of Project Superintendent:

• Manage day-to-day field activities to ensure that the established project schedule and budget is met.
• Create short interval look ahead project schedules that make sure upcoming work is properly communicated and coordinated with suppliers and/or subcontractors. 3 Week look ahead shall be submitted weekly to project manager.
• Create and maintain a culture that values safety, health and cleanliness.
• Manage and coordinate work to ensure that it is constructed in strict accordance with the contract drawings and specifications.
• Verify that all work is performed in a workmanlike manner.
• Conduct and / or attend pre-construction, progress and other project and staff meetings.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships with client representatives.
• Manage changes in project scope to ensure that any work outside of the contracted scope of work is not performed prior to receiving a written agreement from the client.
• Maintain daily paperwork such as timesheets, daily reports, email correspondence and task hazard analysis.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualification & Requirements of Project Superintendent:

• All hiring decisions are contingent on the selectee passing background/FBI check and drug screening.
• Must be willing to mentor and train new hires as needed.
• Must be familiar with company and client safety programs and ensure that work is performed in accordance with company policies.
