Job Description of Accounting Specialist:
Seeking an A/P Accounting Specialist with a college degree and 3-5 years of job costing or project accounting experience. Ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative environment as part of an accounting team driven by project deadlines. Salary range $42,000-$48,000 D.O.E.
 
Duties & Responsibilities of Accounting Specialist:

• Work with Service and Accounting team to ensure accurate billing and improved customer satisfaction.
• Maintains the general ledger and subsidiary ledger accounts, including preparing and posting journal entries for multiple divisions
• Maintains fixed asset tracking and ensures accurate recording of depreciation and amortization
• Prepare and enter monthly journal entries for the Company
• Assists with reviewing/developing accounting policies and procedures
• Compiles supporting documentation for audit and tax return
• Special projects and other duties assigned

Qualifications of Accountant Specialist:

Employment is conditional upon successful results of pre-employment screening.

• Previous experience with vouchers, change orders, lien wavers, vendor management, job costing and project reporting is required.
