Centra Credit Union's Member Service Associate (Teller) position in Jeffersonville, Indiana, at our River Ridge location, is responsible for meeting and servicing the financial needs of Members through processing account and service transactions; educating and referring Credit Union products and services based upon Member needs. This position contributes to the safety and security of the branch in compliance with policy and procedure.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
This position may be required to perform additional duties as requested. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform.
- Performs routine Member account transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, cash advances, loan payments, check cashing, sale of negotiable instruments, and cash exchanges.
- Interacts with Members focusing on Member engagement in providing education and referrals of Centra products and services.
- Develops and sustains detailed knowledge on consumer deposit products and services to assist Members.
- Maintains knowledge and awareness of lending products, branch operations and new account procedures and policies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE WILL BE CONSIDERED):
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
- Under one year of similar or preparatory experience.
LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Driver's License
