Job Description: This position would be working in a 28 day residential program in a part-time role for women in recovery. We are needing someone to help with preparing and serving food on the weekends. There also needs during the week and you would work under the direct supervision of our dietary supervisor. Job Qualifications: High School Diploma or G.E.D. One to three months of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Summary of Job: The Dietary Aide will read the menu and determine what needs prepared for the assigned meal. Set cutlery on tables, prepare appropriate food, prepare plates that are presentable and have proper portions of food. Help serve clients if the opportunity is available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervisory Responsibilities for: This job title does not supervise others. Read menu to determine items needed for your meal. Set cutlery on tables. Food servings equivalent to portions listed on menu. Collect dirty bus tubs from dining area at end of meal, and wash dirty dishes according to policy and procedures. Prepare ‘special alternatives’. Timely and accurately prepare and serve food to clients. Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Successfully complete job duties before the end of every shift. Regular and Reliable attendance is required. Key Performance Indicators: Timely and accurately prepare and serve food. Maintain collaborative relationship with supervisor, co-workers, and clients.
