**Be Part of the Show at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts!**

Located in downtown Tampa, the Straz offers flexible hours, event-based schedules including evenings and weekends, and a team-based work environment. Straz benefits for part-time staff include employee discounts and a 403(b) plan.

**Bartenders at the Straz perform the following activities:**

* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks

* Use POS system to ring orders and accurately maintain inventory

* Wash and sterilize glassware

* Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons

* Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages

* Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas

* Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies

**Minimum Qualifications:**

* Must be 21 years of age

* Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes

* Be able to stand for long periods of time

* Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds

* Must possess basic math skills

* Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment

* Ability to work flexible hours; including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
