Position: Sanitation Lead
Department: Sanitation
Reports to: Plant Management.
FLSA Status: Hourly (50-55 hours a week)
Schedule: 5pm – 2:30am, 5 days a week with rotating weekends/holidays.

Job Description: As a sanitation lead, you will be responsible for implementing sanitation protocols in line with state health and safety regulations. You will also be required to conduct daily sanitation inspections and oversee staff training.
To be successful as a sanitation lead, you should demonstrate strong leadership skills, detailed knowledge of the food and beverage industry and good eye for detail. A top-notch lead ensures the manufacturing facility is always up to code and running efficiently.

Requirements:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: Previous experience with sanitation
Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, & Outlook
Familiar with USDA, OSHA, & HACCP (Company training) regulations
Excellent people skills & ability to be an effective communicator
Excellent communication, leadership, & interpersonal skills
Teachable, dependable, and able to adapt to changes
Ability to work varied hours/days, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to manage time and people
Willing to perform any and all other duties forthwith assigned
Familiarity with testing equipment and testing procedures.
