Centaris is Hiring a Clerical Assistant Near Sterling Heights, MI

Summary:

Centaris was founded in 1981 with the purpose of designing, implement and supporting Voice and Data products for small and mid-sized businesses in Michigan. We offer an exciting and stable work environment in a fun and lively atmosphere.

We are looking for a detail oriented Clerical Assistant to join our growing technology company. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational and administrative skills along with excellent customer service. This is a part time position at our Sterling Heights office. Preferred hours are 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists Voice Sales Department with assigned project-based work tasks including data entry of sales orders and client service requests.
  • Performs general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Answers phones for call center. Responds to customer requests and transfers customer calls to appropriate staff.
  • Reviews and processes daily service records for accuracy before billing
  • Updates new installation warranty information and equipment counts
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous clerical/customer service experience preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
