Cennox is currently seeking an Journeyman Electrician based in Murrieta, CAto work with the Senior Electrician in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems throughout all of California. This full-time position requires extensive travel throughout California, offers the opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing company, and will pay up to $30.00 per hour based on experience.

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to do:

• Execute plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning lighting, EV Charging stations and other electrical systems
• Install electrical apparatus, fixtures and equipment for alarm and other systems
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• Prepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through them
• Prevent breakdown of systems by routinely inspecting and replacing old wiring and insulated cables, cleaning circuits etc.
• Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute damaged units
• Collaborate with prefabrication and design departments
•  Set clear goals and expectations to onsite technicians.
• Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns onsite.
• When necessary, estimate bids and change orders for assigned projects.
• Develop/maintain network of professional relationships within our industry.

Skills Required:

• Proven experience as an electrician
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Prior experience in electrical estimating desired

• Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprints
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong Computer skills
• Excellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts and overnight
• Diploma in relevant vocational training or successfully completed apprenticeship as an electrician
• Valid license to practice profession
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing
• Ability to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability vehicle insurance to perform work in the area, as deemed appropriate by Cennox liability insurance policy, currently in place and as amended in the future

Experience and Education:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current licensing, as required by state
• Technical training desired

Physical Requirements:

• Must be available to travel throughout all of California up to 75% of the time
• Ability to lift and move 50 or more pounds
• Ability to work indoors and outside (including during inclement weather)
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to sit and drive a vehicle with extensive travel
• Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely
• Must have good hand/eye coordination
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20
