Pharmacy Technician

The Cedra team is looking to add a Full-time Pharmacy Technician to our full-service pharmacy in Dallas, TX.

-----Responsibilities-----

· Providing high quality customer service to patients and doctors.

· Assisting pharmacists in checking and filling prescriptions, answering questions and requests, responding to and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

· Maintaining pharmacy inventory.

· Performing computer data entry of prescription information. Maintaining a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Organizing medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions.

· Contributing to team effort and willingness to be flexible to support dynamic needs of a growing pharmacy.

-----Requirements Skills/Qualifications-----

· Meets state requirements to work as a Pharmacy Technician, such as minimum age, qualification, registration, certification, and/or licensure required by the State Board of Pharmacy.

· At least one-year experience as a Retail Pharmacy Technician

· Must be able to meet physical demands of job, which can include light lifting and sitting/standing for long periods of time.

· Must be open to a flexible work schedule which could include some Saturdays

· Integrity, Attention to Detail, Dependability, Quality Focus, Proactive, Strong Work Ethic, Team Player, Able to Work Independently.

· Compounding experience a plus

· Must be able to speak English and Spanish

· Pay rate competitive with chain retail pharmacies, negotiable based on experience.
