The Enterprise Architect position is responsible for translating CCMSI’s business vision and strategy into effective enterprise change by creating, communicating, and refining key insights (requirements, principles, models) that describe CCMSI’s future state and enable evolution and transformation. The goals of the Enterprise Architect are to improve organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and agility by delivering business-aligned future states, roadmaps, and products necessary to achieve that vision for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Informs and advises executives and their staff on strategic and operational opportunities for improvement and develops effective roadmaps that illustrate feasible approaches to execute strategies.
  • Ensures that architecturally relevant issues are aired, that CCMSI clients, business partners, vendors, and staff are considered, and that decisions are made and documented among business and IT stakeholders.
  • Creates and collects architectural descriptions and documents for the elements of enterprise strategy, architecture, operations, systems, and information systems.
  • Provides architectural insight for enterprise and IT-level strategy formation.
  • Provides a clear vision for strategic requirements that span CCMSI’s enterprise, providing models of future states, with roadmaps that steer the implementation of change initiatives.
  • Evaluates technologies and sets the technical strategy for the organization
  • Document, communicate and teach the developers how to work in our environment from idea generation to production deployment.
  • Assists developers with the installation of necessary tools and technical services with configurations and settings for all services.
  • Continuously looks for opportunities to develop process improvements to increase quality and production.
  • Provides leadership by identifying and highlighting the talents of staff, promoting an environment where knowledge is shared, challenging underperforming employees, cultivating diversity, maintaining open communication to enhance problem-solving, promoting good work attitudes and ethics, taking risks to achieve organizational success, and demonstrating an appreciation for the urgency and commitment to achieving goals.

Qualifications

Reliable, predictable attendance within client service hours for the performance of this position.

Ability to clearly communicate verbally and/or in writing both internally and externally.

Education and/or Experience

Graduate Degree with a minimum of ten (10) years of supervisory or project supervision experience.

Emphasis on Client Service functions is helpful. Proven leadership experience to develop and effectively execute high-level enterprise architectural plans.

Technical Qualifications

Direct experience with a range of services from the Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform including Infrastructure and Security related services such as Azure AD, IaaS, Containers, Storage, Networking, and Azure Security.

  • Experience in setting up, deploying, and managing multiple environments to support agile development approaches in Hybrid Azure environments.
  • Deep understanding of coding best practices and modern architectural patterns, including microservices and message-driven architectures
  • Recent hands-on experience with DevOps toolsets
  • It is essential that you have strong, in-depth, and demonstrable hands-on experience with the following technologies:
    • Microsoft Azure and related build, deployment, automation, networking, and security technologies in cloud and hybrid environments.
    • Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service (PaaS) products such as Azure SQL, AppServices, Logic Apps, Functions, and other Serverless services
    • Understanding of Microsoft Identity and Access Management products such as Azure AD or AD B2C
    • Microsoft Azure Operational and Monitoring tools, including Azure Monitor, App Insights and Log Analytics
    • Knowledge of deployment automation.
    • Experienced in the design and delivery of enterprise level Highly Available solutions
  • 6 or more years of SQL and general relational database (RDBMS) knowledge.
  • Experience with modern system design both responsive and adaptive development, Jira, Confluence, Data Structures for Data Analytics, Data Lakes, and Data Cubes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Professional designations or certifications preferred.
