What We Need: We’re seeking a skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your experience in a fast-paced environment and continue growing your skills What You'll Do: Collect customer information for the credit application and approval process Assist in conducting periodic account reviews to identify and follow up on key accounts Maintain all collections notes in collections tool, including supporting documentation Consult and advise management regarding the status of outstanding accounts Monitor the status of outstanding collection activity to identify problem areas and adopt procedures to improve the overall collections process and time to payment Assist in the development and administration of effective credit and collections strategies and initiatives Identify accounts that are uncollectible, inform management of risks of lost revenue or other anomalies; assists in the preparation and validation of bad debt write-offs for uncollectible account balances Generate reports and analyses to help successfully manage past due accounts; assist in the collection of past due accounts Maintain effective working relationships between iHeartMedia and vendors to ensure credit and collection activities are consistent with iHeartMedia’s overall customer relations Assist in managing bankrupt accounts, post-petition issues and the processing of bankruptcy related documents What You'll Need: Proficient level in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) Proven experience utilizing collections tools and strategies Ability to multi-task and to prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment Must be highly motivated and have proven customer-oriented attitude with focus on solutions Ability to establish rapport and credibility quickly Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Accounting or equivalent work experience Previous collection experience Sales or call center experience a plus What You'll Bring: Respect for others and a strong belief that others should do this in return Ability to work within prescribed guidelines without needing close supervision Problem solving skills within established procedures Understanding of when to seek guidance for unforeseen problems Close attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to act in a professional manner and collaborate with colleagues of different levels Location: San Antonio, TX: 20880 Stone Oak Parkway, 78258 Position Type: Regular Time Type: Full time Pay Type: Hourly Benefits: iHeartMedia’s benefits offering is flexible and offers a variety of choices to meet the diverse needs of our changing workforce, including the following: Employer sponsored medical, dental and vision with a variety of coverage options Company provided and supplemental life insurance Paid vacation and sick time Paid company holidays, including a floating holiday that enable our employees to celebrate the holiday of their choosing A Spirit day to encourage and allow our employees to more easily volunteer in their community A 401K plan Employee Assistance Program (EAP) at no cost – services include telephonic counseling sessions, consultation on legal and financial matters, emotional well-being, family and caregiving A range of additional voluntary programs, such as spending accounts, student loan refinancing, accident insurance and more!
