CCIntegration is Hiring a Warehouse Supervisor Near San Jose, CA

Description

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading and developing the shipping, receiving, material handling, and recovery teams, while maintaining the system accuracy of on-hand inventory by location and managing domestic/export compliance standards. The Warehouse Supervisor will demonstrate a contribution to the growth of a team environment and will be expected to meet all responsibilities listed below in a quality and professional manner.

The job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for all aspects of daily warehousing operations
  • Directly responsible for training and developing associates to understand and carry out multiple tasks contributing to consistent and efficient inventory management processes
  • Maintain the staffing organizational structure to meet business needs
  • Responsible for the secure handling, storage and count integrity of all inventory including materials, work in progress, and finished goods
  • Leads team to fulfill the following duties, but not limited to:
  • Identifying and storing inventory following quality, FIFO standards, and ISO standards:
  1. Accounting for all receipts of materials and supplies
  2. Performing incoming inspection to ensure separate handling of conforming and non-conforming inventory
  3. Timely processing of return materials authorization
  4. Work with production, scheduling, purchasing, quality, and finance teams when needed
  5. Accurate and timely processing of all inventory transactions
  6. Timely shipment of all outbound orders in accordance with company/customer shipping requirements including packaging and carrier specifications
  • Collaborate with the team on cycle counting and conduct regular accuracy checks of inventory, including investigating, resolving, and reporting variances
  • Filter and manage requests from internal/external customers regarding freight quotes, tracking information, delivery schedules and handling problems
  • Administer damage prevention and claims
  • Work with team members to drive key operational measurements
  • Coordinate and train team members on ISO procedures and requirements and participate in audits
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment for all associates, maintain ISO and company standards
  • Forklift operation, will provide training to all incoming associates

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Ability to work well in diverse environment, assist in training of other members, and promote a strong team effort to ensure timely and efficient completion of customer requirements.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • 3 years of experience in logistics warehouse environment required.
  • 1 year in a supervisory or a team leader role with demonstrated ability to coach/mentor/develop team members to achieve goals.
  • Strong leadership skills, organization skills, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office such especially Excel, Word, and Outlook & Google Sheets
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, inventory, and shipping software
  • Self-learner who is innovative and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and not afraid to ask questions
  • Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail while multitasking, be resilient
  • Capable of reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedures and manuals. Able to write routine reports and correspondence and speak effectively before customers, team, and management
  • Experience dealing with freight services such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, Freight Couriers
  • Experience dealing with international shipments and customs
  • Knowledge of country regulatory rules and guidelines

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to stand, walk and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms while taking and hearing
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with assistance of othersĀ·
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
