iHeartRadio Job Summary: Do you want to work in the music industry? Do consumer electronics like SmartTVs excite you? Do you know how to get things done and have several years of experience supporting the launch of high value technical integrations? iHeartRadio is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join the Product Innovation team to help us in our mission to reshape the world of live radio, music and podcasts on OTT, Smart TV and Automotive platforms. You will work closely with key iHeart integration partners as well as internal product and UX teams to ensure iHeart apps are launched successfully and follow engineering best practices. You will be responsible for and will oversee the technical integrations of partner apps with iHeart music services. You will troubleshoot and problem solve existing API integrations and collaborate with the product team and partners to develop new and innovative products. Successful candidates will thrive working on a variety of consumer electronic integrations in a fast paced environment. You will be responsible for the technical implementations and integrations between some of the most popular Smart TV/OTT platforms, Voice Assistants, Automotive integrations and iHeart’s API based services. In this role, you will be actively supporting apps on OTT platforms like Roku, Comcast, Samsung and many more. You will work with highly collaborative teams of engineers, product managers and integration partners to deliver innovative products and features. This role would include identifying and spearheading technical needs for new initiatives and driving the discussion among engineering leadership. You don’t need to be able to solve every technical problem, but you would need to be able to identify the right person or skillset to bring to the discussion.The right candidate knows how to get stuff done in a fast paced cross-functional environment. iHeart’s Technical Program Manager acts as the engineering bridge between iHeart and it’s various partners. Your job will be to help partners utilize iHeart’s APIs and services so that they can build apps that are popular, innovative and maintainable. If you’ve always wanted to work in music and help define iHeart’s long term growth across our many platforms this is a role for you. You Like: Working closely with a team of product owners, UX designers and engineers to deliver and manage new products. Problem solving and troubleshooting RESTful API requests. Write and collaborate on technical documentation. Difficult conversations & dealing w/ pushback (okay, no one likes these, but you value honest communication). Working in the consumer electronics and music space Communicating consistently and effectively to ensure transparency and alignment across the org Organization (this should permeate through your well organized pores).
