JOB TITLE: Human Resources Coordinator

Benefits include: Health insurance, 401(k), Paid time off, and Education Assistance Program.

All candidates are subject to a pre-employment background check including credit report and past employment references. All checks must be favorable for an applicant to be considered for employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordination of HR services between bank staff and Professional Employer Organization (Bank).
  • Create and maintain all personnel records and files.
  • Complete new hire paperwork, benefit enrollment forms, change forms, and submits same.
  • Complete termination paperwork, including but not limited to offboarding of benefits, distribution of applicable paperwork and recording of pertinent data.
  • Assist with the administration of the Employer’s 401(K) plan including but not limited to; annual disclosures, maintenance, distributions, loans, contributions, enrollment, etc.
  • Report employee changes and open positions to the Board of Directors, monthly.
  • Monitor the completion of employee annual performance reviews.
  • Receive and maintain employment applications and request background checks for potential new hires.
  • Submit approved employee timesheets for processing of bi-weekly payroll. Complete bi-weekly payroll function.
  • Review draft payroll report for accuracy; complete spreadsheets for medical insurance premiums, life insurance premiums, and general ledger entries.
  • Assist in miscellaneous administrative support.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned, consistent with the responsibilities of the HR Coordinator, with the approval of the Chief Operations Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Experience in a similar position preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word and Excel. Experience with Bamboo HR platform and TRAX payroll preferred.
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments.
  • Must have the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Willing to work with co-workers and participate as a team player.
  • High School diploma required; college degree helpful
