Caterpillar's Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) has an exciting opportunity for a Recruiter ! In this role, you will be the lead recruiter assisting hiring managers in finding the best talent for their hourly manufacturing positions. You will support high volume, full lifecycle of recruitment processes as well as reviewing and creating requisitions, and sourcing for three facilities located in South Texas.
What you will do:
Provide consultation and recruiting expertise to hiring managers and business unit’s leadership by leveraging knowledge of the current labor market and the needs of the business to fill positions efficiently
Collaborate with leadership and business partners to better forecast hiring demand fluctuations, attrition, and proactively assist in developing and implementing recruiting solutions to sustain required headcount to meet business quotas
Manage and develop candidate pipelines by implementing effective sourcing strategies and recruitment campaigns
Track candidate process and minimize time-to-fill and retention metrics by prioritizing urgency and efficiency throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Provide hiring managers and leadership with high-quality candidates to fill open requisitions
Develop and maintain positive relationships with business partners, peers, employees, candidates, and recruitment channel partners (agencies)
Maintain and ensure compliance with local recruitment policies & processes
Coordinate with the assigned recruiting coordinator and ensure interviews and preemployment processes are conducted in a timely manner
Ensure a positive candidate experience is at the forefront of all recruitment activity
Provide recruiting status updates to Regional and Global Recruiting Leadership including performance vs targets, sourcing/recruiting challenges/issues, etc.
Collaborate with other regions to share knowledge and lessons learned
Provide back-up recruiting services for other regions as needed
What you will have:
2-4 years of recruiting and/or sourcing career experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with various levels of the organization
Excellent communication skills to include written and verbal communication
Self-motivated professional who can work autonomously as well as within a team-based, matrixed environment
Proficient influencing, negotiation, and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and interpret data including recruiting metrics
Experience working with the Workday software or other recruiting/A.T.S. software
Expert knowledge of working with computer-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite)
What would make you a top candidate:
Bachelor’s degree or higher level of education
Experience in high volume, full lifecycle recruiting
Skilled in recruiting for manufacturing and/or logistics positions
Experience using Workday
Experience with Microsoft Power BI software
Proficient knowledge of OFCCP compliance requirements
Travel:
Up to 10%
