About the Role and the Department

Catchafire is looking for an Associate Graphic Designer to join our growing Brand Design team working on our evolving product and brand. The Associate Graphic Designer will work closely with our Senior Graphic Designer to build our brand systems and create sales collateral and marketing assets. They will be challenged to use their skills for good by visually communicating our brand across channels. This person will report to the VP, Brand & User Experience. 

This role will cover a spectrum of design responsibilities ranging from brand work and social media design to digital production and presentation design. The ideal candidate is someone who is early in their career and eager to get experience working across different channels in a fast-paced technology start-up in the social good sector at a mission-driven organization.

Responsibilities

• Create digital and print marketing materials according to brand guidelines
• Design presentation decks to support our revenue teams deliver their messages clearly and effectively
• Create brand extension systems based on our rebrand work in progress
• Photo production including sourcing stock images and color-correcting images shot in-house
• Design transactional and marketing emails
• Develop a strong understanding of the Catchafire brand to design various marketing and social media posts and assets

Experience

Ideal candidates must have:

• Industry experience in a related field (1-3 years)
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Figma
• Familiarity using Google Suite 
• Experience with email creation software such as Mailchimp 
• Strong Time management and organizational skills 
• Must be able to share an online portfolio
• Familiarity with or interest in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and specifically how these concepts manifest in a professional setting
