Catalyst Health Group is Hiring a Cloud Engineer Near Plano, TX
- Experience with Public Cloud Providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.
- Modifying and improving existing systems.
- Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
- Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.
- Developing and maintaining cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code platforms (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
- Implementation of application monitoring solutions (AWS CloudFront, DataDog, etc.)
- Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
- Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.
- Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
- Strong communication skills to connect with both members of Devops team, Product Owners and Business Unit leaders.
- Automate and streamline Infrastructure and Security operations with a focus on quality, scalability, repeatability and speed.
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field. Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 4 years experience in the field of cloud computing.
- Experience with CI/CD systems.
- Experience with DevSecOps methodologies.
- Current with industry trends, IT Operations and industry best practices.
- Stellar troubleshooting skills with the ability to spot issues before they become customer impacting.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills at the team and management levels.
- Azure, AWS certifications preferred.
- Experience with database technologies.
- Experience with serverless architecture.
- Experience with open-source technologies.
