SPM Oil & Gas currently has an opening for a Quality Systems Specialist located in Fort Worth, TX. The Quality Systems Specialist will be responsible for processing and maintaining quality records, documentation, certifications, and quality system databases. The incumbent will administer and support the necessary processes and procedures that ensure all products meet customer, engineering, and company quality requirements. Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Maintain product certification data in quality systems databases. Administer the document control process for the Quality Management System. This includes new document creation, revision or editing of existing documentation, and distribution through the document management portal. Perform quality records verifications. Prepare customer certification packages. Enters product certification data into the certification database as directed. Support calibration processes, including interface with outside service providers. Act as an internal auditor. Prepare quality reports as necessary. Provide administrative support for the quality department, including purchase order processing, and other clerical duties as requested. Scan and/or file quality records for retention per the Quality Management System. Continuously improve QMS processes and procedures. Maintains employee records as they relate to required QMS training. Measurements: On-time and accurate completion of assigned activities and projects. Basic Qualifications: Two years related experience in Quality. Experience with material traceability, performing quality document verifications, internal auditor. Knowledge in Quality Management Systems is desirable. Education: At least high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have intermediate computer experience including the ability to generate documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations using Microsoft Office. Experience with SyteLine or quality databases preferred. Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Personal protective equipment is required in certain areas of the facility. Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar; varies writing style to meet needs; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
