Senior Auditor (Incurred Cost Submissions)

This position is a great opportunity for someone to gain supervisory experience while learning best practices from management who have grown their careers at the firm! As a Senior Auditor, you will:

• Analyze and review financial statements to determine the auditee's  financial capability
• Audit proposals to determine the allowability, allocability, and reasonableness of proposed/budgeted costs and/or direct and indirect costs
• Evaluate policies, procedures, practices, and internal controls related to accounting, estimating, and procurement to determine their effectiveness
• Conduct evaluations of an awardee’s statements of costs incurred estimates or statements of cost actually incurred
• Implement post-award audit actions

To be great in this role, you’ll need a basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards as well as: 

• Good sense of ethical judgment and values

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• Strong attention to detail 

• Great communication skills 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or business related degree from an accredited school

• Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required) 

• CPA or 150 Credit hours to sit for CPA exam preferred but not required
