Are you a dynamic, self-motivated recruitment professional seeking an opportunity in the metals industry? Castle Metals is seeking 2-5 years of experience for a Recruiter role in our Oak Brook, Illinois, location. This is a hybrid position that will report to the office 2 days per week and work from home 3 days per week after completing a successful onboarding period. The Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for identifying and inspiring the most qualified candidates to join the Company in various director, sales, operations and administrative positions.The ideal candidate will proactively recruit and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for assigned positions across the organization; managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle. The recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that open positions are filled with qualified, talented candidates, which involves managing logistics with hiring managers and ensuring a positive candidate experience.This is a hands on role that will recruit from entry level to management level positions. This individual will work with a small but resourceful Human Resources department that works hard and also values maintaining a fun and positive work environment. The HR team enjoys coming to work each day and performing at the highest level for the company and its dedicated employees.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Recruiter Job Duties:
• Successfully manages, prioritizes and closes requisitions against stated timelines.
• Conducts pre-employment assessments and screenings (background checks, references, drug screenings, E-Verify, etc.)
• Forges dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and Human Resources Business Partners.
• Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
• Engages directly with the business to truly understand job descriptions and required qualifications.
• Educates hiring managers on the legal requirements of recruitment and best practices via live trainings and webinars.
• Improves organization attractiveness by recommending changes to recruitment policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.
• Monitors ATS (Applicant Tracking System) performance – opens and resolves vendor trouble-shooting tickets.
• Occasionally travels to represent Castle Metals at seasonal onsite campus events and job fairs across the country.
• Manage and report on Exit Interview data.
• Runs reports for compliance with OFCCP and AAP reports.
• Works with hiring managers to identify position specifications, develop job descriptions and advertise and partner with managers during the recruitment process.
• Familiar with various social media sites to post positions, inform potential candidates of new openings (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
• Provides complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the Company and position.
• Conducts regular follow-up to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans.
• Maintains applicant tracking records in compliance with Company and legal procedures.
• Participates in the development of ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies, including diverse hires.
• Prepares recruiting reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Completes special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, and fulfilling various activities.
• Represents the Company effectively and professionally.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience.
• A minimum two years of full cycle recruiting experience to include sourcing, screening and candidate selection.
• This is a hands on position with a fair amount of recruitment related administration duties. This person will regularly recruit for everything from warehouse, sales, corporate and senior management level positions.
• For the appropriate candidate, this is a hybrid position. Interested individuals must be able to work responsibly and independently. The hybrid nature of this role is depend on maintaining an acceptable level of performance.
• Ability to travel and represent Castle Metals at seasonal onsite campus events and job fairs across the country is required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
• High level of organization skills to manage multiple requisitions, applicants and candidates.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Experience with an applicant management system.
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Outlook calendar functions.
• Flexible and interest in learning and / or being exposed to new skills outside of the scope of recruitment.
