Augustana Apartments of Minneapolis, an independent and assisted living campus in Minneapolis, is hiring compassionate Servers to serve our residents, employees, and family member's meals. Our Dietary Department is a great group to work with and are valued by staff and residents alike. 

There are Part-Time positions available working varied schedule including every other weekend. Hours: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (great hours for students)

Server responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Take resident orders and serve meals when orders are ready.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.
• Assemble items needed for meals and deliver meal carts to appropriate areas.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.

Server skills and requirements: 

• Prior experience working with the elderly preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Restaurant experience a plus!
