Augustana Apartments of Minneapolis, an independent and assisted living campus in Minneapolis,is hiring Caregivers (Home Health Aides (HHAs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) or Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)) to join our team! In this role, you will become an important part of our residents' lives. 

We are conveniently located on the bus line and accessible by the light rail! Staff enjoy the convenience of being located near restaurants, coffee shops, shopping, pharmacies, and health care providers. There are Part-Time (Day, Evening, Night) or Full-Time (Evening), benefit eligiblepositions available working varied schedules including every other weekend.

Shifts: 6:30 am to 2:30 pm; 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm; or 10:30 pm to 6:30 am

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
• Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
• Wash resident clothing, make beds, and clean the general environment.
• Assist with laundry and bed making.
• Document services performed on computerized charting system.
• Perform delegated nursing or therapy procedures.
• Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition to the supervisor.
• Assist with body positioning, transfers, therapeutic exercises, active or passive range of motion.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Caregiver skills and requirements:

• Current MN Nursing Assistant certification preferred. 
• Compassionate attitude and passion to work with elderly adults.
