The Welder performs preventive maintenance, fabrication welding, refurbishes refuse containers and compactors, rehabilitates scuffed paint, installs decals and ensures accurate repair and replacement of components.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, equipment maintenance and repair experience, a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment, be 18 years of age or older and be legally eligible to work in the US.
Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, proven commitment to work and a dedication to safety are required. Welding and fabrication skills are expected and the candidate must be a self-directed person.
Positive, team-oriented individual who has a strong work ethic, is committed to safety, customer driven, open to personal and professional training and development, and results-oriented with the ability to see the larger picture while focusing on detailed information.
