Carta is Hiring a Sales Enablement Specialist Near San Francisco, CA

The Team You’ll Work With

The GTM Strategy & Operations team partners with Sales & Marketing leaders to drive Carta’s revenue strategy and best-in class execution.

The team's mandate is to help drive revenue and optimize efficiency across the revenue customer lifecycle. The team owns end-to-end GTM strategy and execution, as well as the reporting and operational foundation, for Carta to continuously scale and grow. 

As a key member of the Sales Enablement team, you will focus on improving productivity and efficiency for sales reps throughout the revenue lifecycle to accelerate growth. You’ll partner with our Sales & Marketing teams to improve critical enablement processes, drive cross-functional initiatives, develop a strategy for training and content, while also executing on enablement programs.

The Problems You’ll Solve

  • Partner with Sales leadership to uncover business needs, design training solutions to address these needs, launch and measure the success of those solutions
  • Build global enablement sales programs to support domestic and international sales teams
  • Manage cross-functional efforts that impact the sales team while effectively executing against defined plans
  • Design and develop Enablement solutions across a variety of mediums (i.e. classroom, virtual, elearnings, content, coaching, video, on the job support, etc.) to improve the way we sell different products into various markets
  • Define Sales Enablement KPIs and measure success of programs and initiatives. Measure the impact of Enablement solutions and make changes if needed
  • Ensure consistency and create alignment across Sales and GTM teams. Help develop project communications and internal announcements strategy
  • Develop new hire onboarding programs that decrease ramp time of incoming reps and partner with onboarding program managers to ensure success
  • Ensure ongoing use and maintenance of tools by leadership and sales teams
  • Evolve our document management system to keep up with the needs of the team
  • Attend calls with managers and reps to understand the "field reality" and build enablement deliverables that align with the customer journey

About You

  • 2 years experience in sales or sales enablement (finance, fintech experience preferred)
  • Drive to execute, seek lasting impact, and demonstrate urgency with projects big and small with an ownership mentality
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and visual). Ability to communicate and distill complex concepts into clear and meaningful outputs for all levels
  • You love partnering: You get that organizations are made up of very different parts. You influence others and co-pilot cross-team initiatives
  • You work effectively in an unstructured environment requiring new perspectives, creative approaches, and multiple competing deadlines. You are unfazed by ambiguity and can adapt quickly to change
  • Project management whiz. Ability to scope a complex project, break it into chunks, and execute against a work plan. You communicate deliverables regularly and avoid preventable fire drills
  • Excels in executing, establishing priorities, and meeting swift deadlines in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Exposure to a quota carrying role with experience in sales enablement and retention / adoption experience 
  • Experience leveraging standard learning creation tools and knowledge management tools (Guru) to create effective learning programs
