Cars.com is Hiring a CRM Analyst (Salesforce Admin) Near Chicago, IL

Title: CRM Analyst

The CRM Analyst is a mid level role on the CRM team. This role serves as a liaison between the CRM team and many other departments throughout CARS, Inc. on everyday requests. This position must have excellent communication skills, background as an Admin with a 1000 user base, and be comfortable speaking to a variety of people at varying levels throughout the company.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor the CRM ticket queue in order to gain exposure to a wide range of Salesforce.com issues/requests including integrations and Salesforce CPQ 
  • Perform advanced Salesforce.com operations, such as: creating automations with flows, building custom objects, creating new fields, managing third party tools, etc
  • Ability to work on projects from start to finish and is comfortable meeting with any level of personnel to gather requirements, discuss challenges, properly set expectations, etc. with little supervision
  • Troubleshoot existing functionality and work closely with team members to understand end-user concerns, and provide potential solutions
  • Handle user management and licensing for Salesforce users
  • Assist with system audits including but not limited to users, profiles, permission sets, queues, fields, page layouts, and record types
  • Data import/export activities, including required mapping, and data scrubbing, as required for individual data import/export requests
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of Salesforce training materials for business users (internal teams)
  • Assist in user training as required

 REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201)
  • 3- 5 years of hands on Salesforce experience as an Admin in an org with 1000 users
  • Able to translate business ideas and concepts into technical requirements
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication
  • Data Management experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills 
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrates an approachable customer-centric attitude
  • Embraces new technology, applications, and solutions
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple priorities
  • Keen on learning new techniques and exhibiting a growth mindset

PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • CPQ experience a plus
  • Experience merging Salesforce orgs
  • Agile experience a plus
  • College degree preferred
