Job Description: Manufacturing Industrial/Mechanical Engineer will require the ability to work with fellow employees in group and individual settings. Ability to manage assignments and complete in timely and cost-effective manner. Possess the knowledge and drive to initiate projects that can improve the production process and new equipment installations.
Job & Education Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering.
Efficient knowledge of Solidworks.
Ability to read and translate engineering drawings.
Strong work ethic and attendance / punctuality are essential.
Essential Job Functions:
Must be self-managing and have strong work ethic which shows leadership within the organization.
Respond to Customer issues in a timely manner and resolve problems.
Communicate job expectations to other employees.
Isolate and identify areas of improvement within the manufacturing plant.
Maintain accirate records and documents.
Develop manufacturing satisfaction goals and coordinate with the team.
Maintain mold inventory and specifications.
Assist with equipment development and research.
Develop plant layout and material flow design and development.
Design and modifications of all molds.
Analyze machinery to accept molds and approve quotes
Ensure plant support equipment is maintained and suggest upgrades or replacements
Must have strong communications, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Ability to maintain budgets that apply to your projects and work closely with administration and controller.
Responsible for the modifications, formation, and constant review of high safety standards.
Ability to Design wheels for Customers and conduct inspections upon wheel arrivals.
