Summary
The Warehouse Worker is responsible for managing the daily operations of a mid-size flooring warehouse.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Employment is voluntarily entered into, and employees are free to resign at will at any time, with or without cause. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms; see, and talk and hear. The employee frequently uses hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must be able to lift and carry up to 100 lbs. (i.e., pad rolls, boxes of tile or equipment) To move it as needed. Must be able to climb, reach, squat, crawl, bend and kneel for extended periods as well as push and pull at least 100 lbs. The incumbent is required to assist with moving carpet/pad or drive a forklift. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but can be noisy, especially when operating machinery such as a forklift, blower, etc. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes, and gases.
