Carolinas Center for Surgery's Laser, Vein & Med Spa, is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The US Tech will be responsible for obtaining patient information, conducting ultrasound examinations, and providing high-quality ultrasound images. The ideal candidate has RVT qualifications or experience, solid knowledge of ultrasound technologies and has experience in a similar role. The US Tech is expected to demonstrate technical competency and the ability to work in a busy environment while balancing the needs of patients and maintaining an efficient workflow

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing treatment areas for ultrasound examinations.
• Provide exceptional patient care
• Produce high-quality ultrasound images
• Prepare and provide summarized ultrasound findings to physician in a timely manner.
• Document procedure notes into EHR.
• Stay up to date with advancements in vascular technology.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and organized work environment by following the highest quality care standards
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in ultrasound technology or equivalent work experience
• Ultrasound Tech Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, preferred
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as an ultrasound technologist.
• Advanced knowledge of ultrasound equipment, procedures, and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a caring nature.
