Job Description

Mechanical Supervisor - Trainee

Join this team, located in Tacoma, responsible for using blow or injection molding methods. These leads and supervisors work as a team to reach daily production goals & maintain safety.

Two shifts available:

Swing Shift B (report to work 3:45 p.m., off @ midnight)

Graveyard Shift C (report to work 11:45 p.m., off @ 8 a.m.)

Responsibilities:

  • Inspection of bottles and machines looking for any troubles at the start and at midpoint of shift.
  • Clean molds, nest system, chutes, blow station & windows, also scrape tooling.
  • Perform equipment adjustments to all blow/stretch molding machines & auxiliary equipment to keep all production in quality control specifications and running.
  • Work with Lea to coordinate emergency/accident/incident response when needed.
  • Assist in set-up & maintenance of all equipment
  • Additional responsibilities assigned.
