Immediate Opening for Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for clerical duties of the department. Must be responsible for greeting patients, staff and physicians in a pleasant and professional manner. This position must prioritize having fantastic interpersonal and communication skills while answering all incoming phone calls. Job duties may include, but not limited to check-in, check-out, collecting patient demographic information, utilizing EMR systems, and varying responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

ØExcellent communication skills. Maintain a professional attitude and consistently work cooperatively with residents, families, supervisor, co-workers and ancillary service providers

ØCheck staff, families and consultants in and keep a log.

ØAnswer all phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

ØAbility to follow detailed instructions.

ØBasic computer skills.

ØExperience with medical terminology.

ØPerform all duties within HIPAA regulations.

ØGreet all residents and visitors in the facility.

ØAnswer incoming phone calls and direct to proper extension or take messages.

ØWork cooperatively with facility staff

ØMaintain a professional attitude and consistently work cooperatively with residents, families, supervisor, co-workers and ancillary service providers.

ØUnderstand and follow all company policies including the Employee Handbook.

ØComplete other duties as assigned by the supervisor and/or administrator.

Hours will be Monday thru Friday 7:30 am to 4:30pm (subject to change); Some Holidays work will be required.
