Technical Account Manager

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Technical Account Manager to manage numerous DoD accounts/customers across multiple levels.  This meaningful work supports National Security, Space, and Intelligence Programs. You will be responsible for day-to-day operations of accounts, including sales, support, and building and maintaining customer and employee relationships.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

  • Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in trade shows and events as a Caribou Thunder spokesperson.
  • Increase Caribou Thunder’s brand awareness and generate new sales opportunities.
  • Post about our products/services online (e.g., social media and forums).
  • Create, share and respond to online reviews.
  • Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers.
  • Thoroughly understand our products and services to inform potential customers.
  • Monitor online comments and respond or forward to the Marketing department.
  • Assist in organizing marketing events.
  • Track customers’ preferences and suggest advertising and positioning ideas
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing and Product departments regarding customers’ requests
  • Track and report on competitors’ marketing activities.
  • Research emerging markets to find new sales opportunities to include external and internal contracts.
  • Hold virtual and in-person presentations to earn business.
  • Build, improve and maintain relationships with customers and employees.
  • Communicate with customers and gather information about a program’s scope, budget and timelines.
  • Communicate with the customer, listen to issues, provide security and technical expertise and solutions.
  • Coordinate necessary support services to effectively manage account to meet or exceed operational goals.
  • Ensure all required reporting and contract compliance requirements are met.
  • Conduct site-specific meetings for sales and employee engagement.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Contract, Security, Management, Marketing, or DoD experience.
  • Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications skills required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, complex situations, a diverse team of employees and customer requirements.
  • Strong social media presence on multiple platforms.
  • Experience creating online content.
  • An outgoing and professional personality with a desire to meet new people.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must adhere to COVID-19 Vaccination mandates
