Software Engineer III

Location: Onsite – Bellevue, NE

Schedule: Full Time

OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Software Engineer III to support a national defense contract. This role will work on-site in a classified environment to develop custom applications as well as integrate commercial and government capabilities into DoD products.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE 

• BS plus 5 years of experience
• OR Masters plus 3 years of experience
• OR PhD and zero years

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop full stack React and Java based applications
• Work in an Agile DevSecOps team environment
• Work in a Linux environment
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines
• Design, develop, document, test, and debug applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions.
• Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
• Determine computer user needs.
• Analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls.
• Prepares operating instructions.
• Design and develop compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
• Ensure software standards are met.
