Product Analyst

Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Schedule: Full Time

Salary Range: $80K-$95K

OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Product Analyst to represent Product Management, acting as the voice of customers on the Agile dev team. This role will collaborate with Product Owners/Managers to define work so that the integrated team can review, commit, and execute within a defined period.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience
• OR Master’s Degree plus 3 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead efforts to develop Lean Agile engineering and management best practices, metrics, and audit practices.
• Prioritize key areas of work during a program increment.
• Ensures that the software dev team understands the intent and requirements of feature and user story definitions, and that the team is aligned on all acceptance criteria.
• Conduct Scrum team training, product backlog and retrospective training, Lean Agile development training.
• Facilitate daily Scrum meetings and regular ceremonies, collect Agile & analyze related metrics, facilitate iteration/increment planning, provide Agile coaching and mentoring at all levels within the organization.
• Act as primary interface to customer product owner, collaborating to determine product vision and development priorities.
• Have primary responsibility for product backlog, and backlog refinement.
• Lead team through Product Increment Planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have 2 years of experience as a Product Analyst or have Scrum Master or Product Analyst or Product Owner certification.
• Effective communicator, capable of translating and presenting complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical management and customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Missile Defense, Missile Warning and Space Situational Awareness missions.
• Certification in one or more of these designations is desired: Certified SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), Certified Scrum at Scale Practitioner, Certified Agile Coach, Certified facilitator, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Trainer, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
