DevOps Engineer II

Location: Longmont, CO

Schedule: Full Time

Salary: $115-$125K

OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a DevOps Engineer II responsible for the test, build, design, deployment and operations for the continuous integration and delivery of cloud products and services. This role will be responsible for developing a software factory and automating platform configuration in support of our nation’s defense.

SECURITY CLEARANCE

• Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience
• OR Master’s plus 3 years of experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities.
• Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software.
• Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
• Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls.
• Ensures software standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS

• RedHat Linux environments to include OpenStack or VMWare and OpenShift
• AWS or Azure Cloud Infrastructure 
• Infrastructure as code tools: Terraform, HEAT, or Cloud Formation 
• CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance: Gitlab or Jenkins 
• Configuration Management as code tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SALT 
• Agile Software Development Methodologies and Development Cycle
• Ansible/Ansible Tower Knowledge and Scripting experience 
• Containerization using Kubernetes clusters 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience developing multi-threaded/distributed systems applications
• Experience with Machine Learning applications 
• Hashicorp
• JFrog Artifactory / Sonatype Nexus
• Dynamic Application Scanning (DAST)
• Selenium
• Sikuli
• Cucumber Gherkin testing experience
