Talent Acquisition Specialist – Long Beach, CA
Are you passionate about connecting people with amazing job opportunities? If so, this is the role for you! Cargomatic is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our team in the United States. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for using different channels to search for potential candidates, reach passive candidates, help with Early Careers, and build talent pipelines for future needs. You will proactively recognize our hiring needs and assist us in filling roles with qualified candidates. The right candidate will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" team environment, is a creative and analytical problem solver, and can thrive in a fast-paced, growth culture.

Note: This role is located in our Long Beach headquarters, with 3 days in-office
In This Role, You’ll

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and determine position prerequisites
  • Recognize qualified applicant profiles using different sourcing techniques
  • Draft and send recruiting communications to target candidates
  • Network and maintain relationships with key talent communities for active and passive opportunities
  • Create talent pools for future hiring needs
  • Partner with the TA Lead and colleagues on the design of the Early Careers program, including the refresh of the existing programs and the design of new programs to meet ever-evolving business needs
  • Participate in employer branding initiatives
  • Manage our ATS, including data quality, metrics, and reporting
  • Continuously improve the recruiting process and candidate experience; stay up to date on innovative recruiting trends and practices
  • Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques/practices

About You
We’d love to hear from you if you meet the qualifications below:

  • 1-3 years of end-to-end recruiting experience with exposure to a fast-paced environment 
  • Experience working with Campus Recruiting (Early Careers)
  • Ability to learn systems, processes, and procedures quickly
  • Results-oriented with a track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, optimism, and integrity
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfort handling multiple priorities and pivoting as needs change
  • Organized and detail oriented - this role is all about the details - you need to juggle many different tasks, ensuring they all get done in an accurate and timely manner
  • Results-driven and metrics-oriented
  • A passion for embracing DE&I
