The Contract Support Manager is responsible for managing a team of approximately five employees who analyze customer contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness; research customer eligibility through various channels; and enter contract terms and details in our billing system. This position is responsible for the oversight of the various queues within the CRM system for contract setup as well as contract maintenance updates and responds to inquiries from internal departments regarding contract information. This position is also responsible for coordinating with our pricing team and sales teams to ensure business rules are properly documented and followed.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Oversee a team of approximately five individuals, including establishment of performance metrics and periodic performance evaluations.
  • Evaluate training requirements for the team and update training documentation as necessary.
  • Interpret contract terms and apply established business rules and ensure the team is properly trained on all business rules.
  • Ensure productivity and quality standards are met by the entire team.
  • Work with team members and sales/field representatives on escalated issues.
  • Analyze trends in contract setup to identify efficiencies.
  • Using data analytics, identify business processes that could be enhanced to provide greater efficiencies.
  • Support the Company’s effort to move to a new automated quoting tool within our CRM system.
  • Work with technology and project services teams on system changes for processes supporting business initiatives and keeping highly efficient team with low error rates
  • Identify and implement process improvement ideas between sales and finance operations while leveraging multiple technologies and data-driven analysis to report impact and improve overall satisfaction between teams.
  • Periodically review existing business rules to assess need for change/updates.

What we’re looking for:

  • 3-5 years of proven management experience.
  • Ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment with high volume and periodic change.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Ability to analyze data to identify trends and/or potential issues.
  • Previous knowledge and experience with CRM system (Salesforce a plus)
  • Must have strong Microsoft Office skills; including advanced spreadsheet (Excel) skills: must be familiar with pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data analysis tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.
