Summary: This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly experienced, family-owned US manufacturer and distributor of healthcare products that keep patients and staff safe. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Marketing, this role will drive commercial and operational results in the organization through the development and execution of marketing strategies and close collaboration with the sales and product management teams. The right candidate has a growth mindset, is passionate about process and training, knows how to drive cross-functional collaboration, and has excellent communication and time management skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: 

  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains supervisory and management staff in the department.
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department. 
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees and in accordance with company policy.

Essential Functions:

  • Directs and implements the organization’s advertising and promotional activities.
  • Analyzes target market information to identify and recommend effective marketing approaches. 
  • Identifies new market segments that will benefit from company products. 
  • Prepares effective advertising campaigns based on market research. 
  • Maintains knowledge on emerging products and services. 
  • Collaborates with senior executives to develop growth plans for the organization. 
  • Forecasts, drafts, implements, and oversees the department’s operating budget. 
  • Manage the cleanup and enrichment of the marketing database 
  • Establish marketing lists for campaigns to align with segmentation strategy 
  • Develop a marketing data strategy that will provide insights necessary to drive lead generation and conversion 
  • Measure and report on team-wide efficiency by role and campaign, including measurement of related sales activities 
  • Ensure the company is compliant with and meets best practices for data privacy regulations (currently within the US, potentially internationally) 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Work environment: Home based. Must have a suitable working environment that will include reliable high-speed internet access and a desk, along with quiet surroundings that will allow conversations with customers without interruption.

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for tradeshows and company events (5 %) 

Position Type & Schedule: Full Time; Monday – Friday, 40hrs/week (exact schedule TBD by supervisor)

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing strategies and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills (ownership, humility, flexibility, critical thinking, self-awareness) 
  • Proficiency in Marketing Automation Platforms (e.g, HubSpot), CRMs (e.g., Salesforce), eCommerce Platforms (e.g., Magento), ERPs (e.g., GP), Microsoft 365 cloud (SharePoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams), and Google business tools (Analytics, AdWords) 
  • Experience managing database and process flows in CRMs and marketing automation platforms 
  • Expertise in lead scoring and quantitative analyses to determine, ROI, forecasting, and program effectiveness 
  • Able to find meaning in complex data sets and communicate in simple, digestible terms 
  • Positive, optimistic and upbeat attitude, highly adaptable personality, and maintains composure under stress 

Education and Experience: 

  • 5 years working in marketing execution and 3 years management experience (B2B, healthcare preferred)
