What You'll Be Doing

Completes a variety of skilled installation and skilled carpentry tasks per drawing and blueprints. Assembles and disassembles equipment and furniture. Constructs, repairs, maintains all woodwork to comply with State and local Fire and Safety Codes. Calculates quantity of materials needed, stocks lumber, hardware and other supplies. Patches, refinishing, modifies as necessary. Performs preventive maintenance, service, cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, safety testing and modifying important Hospital surfaces on a scheduled basis. Maintains log and records as required.

What We're Looking For

Education: High School Graduate. Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, JCAHO, DEP, EPA, and other applicable State and Federal Regulations including Safety.

Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a carpenter. Minimum 5 years general commercial carpentry experience.
