Our Client is seeking a Field Service Technician.
Earn a great, hourly rate at this full-time position. Work either Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Work on call every other weekend. Times may vary. Overtime as needed.
Job Description:
- Responsible for maintaining and servicing equipment at locations
- Responds to dispatches and drives to customer locations to deliver supplies and to install, remove, or repair equipment and communication devices
- Attend driver training regarding the use and maintenance of the company vehicle
- Troubleshoot to restore malfunctioning equipment to working order in the field. This may include swapping failed equipment, cleaning and/or minor adjusting of the malfunctioning component
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with Dispatch
- Accurately report activity, arrival and departure times and problems to Dispatch
- Deliver marketing supplies and consumable parts such as paper etc. and track inventory of these items
- Deliver basic training or refresher/remedial for proper use of equipment
- Complete basic forms for reporting activities, equipment problems, recommendations for improvements to procedures, etc.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- One or more years of experience in customer service or related position
- One or more years of experience in technical repairs
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have a good driving record
- Must demonstrate the ability to correctly perceive colors
- Computer knowledge Microsoft Product Knowledge
- Must be able to work outside on all weather conditions during some installations
- Must be able to sit and drive for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to demonstrate dexterity when working with tools
- Must obtain security clearance, a pre-placement physical and a background check
