The Math Instructor performs as an instructor in a regular classroom setting, presenting instructions in designated subject area, specifically Mathematics. Additionally, this position will provide instruction that engages, guides and instructs. Develop methods of instruction with expected goals tailored to learning styles. Ensure instructional methods engage academic integration and social development. This position will also provide hands on to large and small groups with field trips and project learning.
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Education. State certification is required.
Preferred: One (1) year teaching capacity with disadvantaged youth.
Knowledge Required: Knowledge of required subject are, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, excellent organizational skills, must obtain and maintain CPR/ First Aid Certifications. Ability to motivate and inspire students, ability to effectively relate to student population.
