Job Summary: The Custodian/Groundskeeper is responsible for performing general maintenance duties throughout the center.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.
• Performs interior and exterior janitorial and grounds keeping assignments.
• Assists with snow removal.
• Performs minor building maintenance tasks.
• Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
• Attends staff training sessions as required.
• Supervise and mentor trainees assigned to maintenance.
• Instruct trainees on proper workplace behavior and skills needed to contribute to the mission of the maintenance department.
• Provide counseling and mentoring to trainees to help ensure their success.
• Perform all similar and incidental duties as assigned to support the Mission, Vision, and Culture of CSD.

Minimum: High school diploma or GED. Ability to read and write English. Six months experience, to include transportation and/or building maintenance.

Preferred: One year or more work-related experience.

Knowledge: Must possess a valid State driver’s license. Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification.
