Care Hospice is Hiring a Human Resources Coordinator Near Charlottesville, VA

Overview

Care Hospice is looking for a Human Resources & Benefits Coordinator to join our team in Charlottesville, VA! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated, hard-working, and goal-focused individual to partner with a great team, in a growing organization. ** This position is based out of our Support Center Office, located in the Dairy Market with FREE parking. The role has the opportunity for flexible work, and can be hybrid one day a week. **

The HR & Benefits Coordinator provides support to the Human Resources and Benefits functions, including HRIS data entry, file maintenance, open enrollment and benefits administration and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with completion and processing of employment-related information including new hire documentation, wage changes, positions changes, terminations, etc.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Performs Human Resource and benefit-related administrative functions.

Qualifications

  • Two years general HR experience strongly preferred.
  • At least two years Benefits experience required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS software. (ADP & iCIMS a PLUS!)
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Working understanding of human resource principles, practices and procedures.
