Responsibilities
A successful Accounts Payable Specialist / Clerk will be responsible for posting data, reconciling accounts, and maintaining other relevant records to ensure accuracy and timeliness of vendor payments and proper accounting cutoff. Primary responsibilities include vendor correspondence/ payments, annual 1099 reporting compliance and backup support for the AP-related duties of the AP Accountant.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience. Multi-state and/or location experience preferred.
- Experience working with an enterprise reporting planning tool (ERP), Sage experience a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required.
