Position Summary:A Client Accounting Associate I performs back office account research and monetary account maintenance activities on customer accounts. In this role, responsibilities include performing refund adjustments, client-driven requests and navigating third-party systems for ad-hoc inquiries. In certain instances investigative work may also be necessary. Essential Functions:Accurately processes monetary and other cash management adjustment transactionsProcesses corrections of rejected and unposted monetary itemsMaintains proper maintenance of logs, files and other recordsMaintains ongoing knowledge of products and department procedures Communicates proactively with Client Accounting management team on status of workload and any potential or unusual developmentsResponds to client, client liaison and internal department inquiriesConducts research and investigations on customer accounts utilizing various systems and applicationsAssists in other activities, as requested, such as ad-hoc audits, department-specific projects and performs other job duties as assigned Education and Experience:High School Diploma or its equivalent education required; Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) desired, preferably in Accounting or FinanceOne (1) year of banking/back office research and/or account maintenance experience is preferred Summary of Qualifications: Strong Windows based computer application skillsKeyboarding proficiencyAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentEffectively and efficiently communicate both through verbal and written channels in a way that others are able to understand the information in a manner consistent with essential job functionsAbility to multi-taskDetail orientedAdheres to company’s policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
