At Cardone, our Janitor works to maintain the integrity of our buildings by assisting with various cleaning responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, dusts, and vacuums hallways, stairs, offices, warehouse areas, racking, employee entrances, lunchrooms, work stations, cafes and restrooms. 
• Keeps all break areas and restrooms well stocked with supplies such as towels, toilet paper, soap, and women's toiletries. 
• Empties all large trash containers into compactor. 
• Reports when compactor is full to their leader. 
• Responsible for the use and cleaning of power equipment 
• Sweeps and scrubs all aisles of factory and warehouse with power scrubber. 
• Reports all work orders to leaders 
• Applies seven step method 
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or changes to lighting and HVAC systems. 
• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

•  High School Diploma/GED 
• 1- 3 years of related experience 
• Ability to work independently 
• A strong team player with projects
• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to lift 30 lbs

Working Environment

• Stands Majority of Day

• Interplant Travel May Be Required (2 locations in Philadelphia)
