As a Software Development Engineer III - Targeting, you will:

• Collaborate closely and build rapport with architect, research, and engineering teams
• Build functions for a world-class Targeting user profiling.
• Maintain and support existing platforms and evolve to newer technology stacks and architectures.
• Take full ownership of production deployments while adhering to best practices for CI/CD
• Participate in design discussions, influence product roadmap, and take ownership and responsibility over new projects.
• Build highly scalable, available, fault-tolerant data processing systems using AWS technologies, Spark, and other big data technologies. These systems should handle batch and near real-time data processing over 10s of terabytes of data ingested every day and petabyte-sized data warehouse.
• Low level systems debugging, performance measurement & optimization on large production clusters.

You have:

• Experience in big data EMR processing, preferred Spark and Scala.
• Strong in Java or OO equivalent language and SQL skills.
• Preferred: Near real time streaming processing experience.
• Preferred DB: DynamoDB, MemoryDB, Aurora.
• Preferred experience with gRPC and/or HTTP proxy.
• Preferred experience with AWS
• Preferred experience with Lucene
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as developers, analysts, and operations to execute deliverables.
• 3 years professional experience as a data or software engineer.
• BS in Computer Science; MS in Computer Science preferred.
