Heart and Vascular Partners (HVP) is a fast-paced, growing Medical Service Organization that services Heart and Vascular partners in multiple states. HVP is seeking an experienced accounts payable manager to lead various aspects of the day-to-day disbursements function. The company is in the process of building a high-performing accounting team, and this position will be instrumental in this initiative. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of day-to-day accounts payable operations and can help as the accounting team encounters new initiatives.

Essential Functions of the Role:

• Enter all invoices and track payables across various related legal entities
• Manage the payable obligations in the PN3 environment
• Be a key player in the month end closing process
• Provide weekly reports on amounts due and work with the accounting team to make payments on a timely basis
• Ensure all invoices are received from the field and/or other systems
• Process payments via PN3, wires or ACH’s
• Prepare payables reports on an as-needed basis
• Assist in the preparation of workpapers and other support for the annual audit and tax returns
• Prepare annual 1099 filings
• Assist in the accounting team’s oversight of the company’s credit card and travel and expense programs

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting

· 10 years of accounts payable experience

· Experience in working with multiple legal entities

· MS Dynamics experience highly preferred

· Healthcare experience preferred

· Advanced Excel skills

Desired Qualifications

· 2-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare practice

· Preferred knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and proficient at using Microsoft Office 365 to include Word and Excel

Work Environment

This position can serve as a hybrid position, reporting to the office 3 days per week and working remote 2 days per week. The corporate office is located in Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.

Physical Requirements

This position requires full range of body motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to handle or operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and lift up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment

Work is performed in a typical medical clinic and/or business office environment. Work in a clinical setting has the potential for exposure to blood and bodily fluids, and infectious pathogens. Must be able to use protective equipment as required.
